Strawberry Lemon Sparkling Water

I think one of the easiest and most important goals for your health is to drink more water. Even when I’m being intentional about drinking water I almost always fall short. Drinking water gives me more energy, clearer skin, keeps me from mindless munching, and keeps my digestive system on track. Of course, plain water can get boring after a while.

Back in November, I reviewed the Soda Stream Power, a sparkling water maker and shared a fun punch recipe. Our Soda Stream Power is still getting lots of use and I love using it to create my own flavored sparkling waters.

Sparkling water makes me feel like I’m drinking pop (or soda if you’re not from the Midwest), without any of the negatives like sugar, chemicals, and artificial colors. When I DIY my sparkling water I don’t have the expensive price tag that comes with most store-bought brands. Today I’m sharing a favorite sparkling water recipe, Strawberry Lemon Sparkling Water.

    1. Haha! I’ve mostly cut back my diet soda consumption to when I eat pizza. You can’t eat pizza without pop! Hope you enjoy it! I’ve FINALLY started reading your book and I’m loving it so much! Like every page I’m nodding, “yessing” and fist bumping you from afar. 😀

  1. This looks like fun… I have never tried anything like this.

I am lucky to live where the tap water tastes great and runs cold! I never tire of it.

    1. We keep a filtered pitcher in our fridge that eliminates some of the weird taste our tapwater has, but I still love to mix things up. I just like the fizz of pop!

    1. Yes! Just make sure it’s “therapeutic grade” like Young Living or DoTerra. I’m not an oil expert, but a few drops can really shake things up! I like the orange too!

    1. Yeah! It’s even got my husband on board the sparkling water train (although he likes his with a bit of sweetener) but sooo much better than conventional soda!

  2. This looks delicious! I drink seltzer water with a tiny splash of juice all of the time, but I always feel bad about the sugar that comes with juice. I’d way rather use fresh fruit!

  3. Hi Kate,
