So I have two little tomato plants growing on my patio and I have big plans for them. Big, hot salsa plans.
I’m so excited to see the little green tomatoes coming in! I have a notoriously black thumb and my patio plants are just killing it this year! I can’t wait.
You know we eat tacos all the time, so I am planning to can some salsa this summer! I went hunting for some good recipes and the internet did NOT let me down! These salsas capitalize on summer’s freshest produce to create their bold and unique flavors. I’m so excited to experiment with these salsas and find the perfect one (or six) to use for my canning adventure.

What is your favorite type of salsa? Do you make your own salsa?
I grew up in Texas so I am definitely a salsa girl! 🙂 I do make and can my own salsa. Last year, I canned almost 50 pints, so I’m not canning any this year, since I still have 2 dozen jars left. I’ll eat salsa on my eggs, baked potatoes, as salad dressing, and of course, on anything Mexican.
Goodness!! That is a lot of salsa!! What recipe do you use?
Oh my gosh. I am a salsa addict. I load it on everything.
Haha! I think almost everything is better with salsa!
I’m looking forward to some yummy salsa later this summer. I certainly could eat salsa just by the spoonful – no chips needed – especially the fruit kind. I love peach salsa, and the strawberry salsa looks amazing!!
Great idea on the salsas – these look delicious!
Thanks lady!!
