Across a Cup of Hot Chocolate

Good morning! Here we are at Friday again! This week has felt sort of off due to our trip to Chicago, sometimes though I’m not sure what a “normal” week would be anyways. lol!

And I haven’t really been drinking much coffee lately, so let’s have hot chocolate today, shall we?

If we were drinking our cocoa and chatting today I’d tell you that I’m excited to be joining a new Bible study starting in two weeks! We are going to be studying the ‘>life of Gideon.  I definitely need the accountability of a group and hopefully will get a lot personally and spiritually out of this study.  I’m also excited to meet and get to know some ladies at my church on a deeper level. I’m always blessed by community but often have a hard time reaching out for it.

I’m also excited that next weekend I am going to the Country Living Fair in Columbus, OH! My mom and I have talked about going a few times, but this year we just decided to DO IT!  The fair is an amazing amount of vendors, antique dealers, décor, crafty stuff, homemade and vintage goodies and just all things awesome! It’s going to be quite the girls weekend!

Also, I don’t think I mentioned it in my recap of our Chicago trip, but we stopped at both Trader Joes and Whole Foods while in Chicago. I had never been to either!  I wasn’t too blown away by Trader Joes—it seemed a lot like the smaller organic market spots I have been to before. But Whole Foods was pretty impressive. Especially the wall of non-dairy ice cream! So many choices!! And the pizza smelled soo good! The real lesson—I went to Whole Foods, the mecca of healthy eating, and all I wanted was pizza and ice cream.

Tell me, what are you excited about this week?

Have you ever been to Whole Foods before?

  1. I can hardly wait for the Country Living fair! The picture you posted gets me so pumped!! And I wondered if you were doing Priscilla Shirer’s Gideon study? She is an amazing teacher! We did “He Speaks to Me” last winter, and just started “Discerning the Voice of God” last Thursday. I am excited to spend some time with you at Gull Lake next week too!

  2. Trips like that kind of throw me off a bit too… That Country Living Fair sounds like so much fun!!
