Last Saturday my sister Becca got married! Spoiler alert it was beautiful, she was beautiful, all the good things. Here are a few photos from the week leading up to her wedding and the big day!
First off, the Bachelorette party! I hosted this at Becca’s apartement the week before the big day! We had an amazing brunch together, played games, opened lingerie, did a scavenger hunt at an antique store, and painted pallet signs!
We also went to a winery and then a super-great pub-ish restaurant called Social for dinner!
Becca even got serenaded at the winery by a local musician! Such a good sport!
After all the festivities I spent the night at Becca’s apartment with a couple other girls who had longer drives–it was fun to girl talk and then hang out drinking our coffee together in the morning. When I looked at the time, I had to GO!
Then on Friday I met Becca at her future in-laws where she was getting married…the prognosis was looking a little grim for their outdoor wedding since it had been raining for 3 days! But we jetted off to get mani-pedis and were hopeful things would clear up! The rehearsal dinner was held in downtown Toledo and was super delicious! And the best news of all, the clouds cleared and the sun shone just as it was setting! Hallelujah!
Saturday morning we did a lot of setup for the wedding before rushing off to hair and makeup appointment. It was fun getting all dolled up and having some girly time with my mom and sister!
Then we were off to get dressed for Logan and Becca’s reveal in the woods!
I can’t wait to see more photos from the photographer! She was amazing and Becca, Logan, the best man, Ethan and I wandered through the woods for an hour taking (what I’m sure are) ethereal photos!
Then it was on to the wedding!
Becca walking down the aisle is a moment I will long remember. So happy for my sister and her new husband!
Then we were on to partying at the reception! There was great food, fun music, dancing, s’mores, cupcakes–it was a FUN reception, just like Becca and Logan! Many more happy days are in store for them!
And ending with this photo of my sweet family! Nate was a champ and got the kids all ready for the wedding and sane during the wedding by himself! Marry a good man, ladies!
I feel like we are finally back and settled in after crashing from the wedding on Monday and me having a super-fun allergic reaction to something (but who knows what) on Tuesday. Look out for a recipe coming at the end of the week!
