This morning Nate and I went to the Columbia City art fair and farmer’s market. It was a perfect day—cool weather, blue skies, and a brisk breeze.
The farmer’s market in Columbia City, Indiana is every Saturday on the Courthouse lawn from 8-12, but this weekend they combined the farmer’s market with a local artists selling paintings, digital art, pottery, jewelry, woodworking, hand crafts, and metal works.
Nate and I have often stopped by the Columbia City Farmer’s Market when we are at my mom and dad’s! They have a wide selection of high quality produce! I’ve never been disappointed with my choices!
There were some really beautiful watercolors that I liked! I love seeing local artists! They were reasonably priced (for original art) too!
We also found these cute lil, reclaimed yard statue guys hanging out together! Nate, of course, loved the turtle! They would add such fun character to a garden or front porch!
We also really like this woodworker’s bowls. They were so beautiful and many of the woods used had interesting backstories. I have a real soft spot for wooden bowls and the warmth they bring to decor. Needless to say, we were very, very tempted.
We ended up coming home with this blue vase. We loved the beautiful colors, don’t they remind you of looking out at a lake? We also liked the size of the piece and believe it or not it was only $20! What a steal! We hope it has a long and happy life in the Scott household!
The Columbia City Art Fair and Farmer’s Market is a great way to spend your Saturday if you are in northeastern Indiana!
What are you up to this weekend?
