Hello friends! Hope you’re having a great Sunday! The sun is finally shining and I’m getting ready to go outside and play!
First I need to get real with you guys: I’ve been a slacker. I’ve been a slacker last week with my workouts and for the past month I’ve been a slacker with eating healthy. I’ve been a slacker personally in my devotions, prayer life, and intentionality. I can tell myself “It’s okay cause I’m running a marathon” or “I can’t help the carb cravings” or “I’m really busy” or “I’m still sometimes praying when I think about it” but it’s a lie. It’s not okay to eat sugary treats everyday and I can help what I put in my mouth and what cravings I cave to. I can control my time and if I can’t designate it for the things I’m supposed to be building my life around, I have a major problem. Physically, my legs are cut and strong, but from my waist up I’ve gotten pretty soft and flabby. Spiritually, I’ve gotten soft and flabby too. Like a big fat cat.
So end of discussion, marathon or no marathon I need to do what I know I need to do. I need to track calories, eat veggies, drink water, and satisfy my craves with high quality carbohydrates. I need to spend 1/2 hour reading, praying, and studying the Word. I need to be kinder and more intentional about my relationships.

Wednesday: 9 Mile Run
Thursday: 5 Mile run
Friday: Toning: Abs and Arms
Saturday: 18 Mile–long run! AAHH!
