Life Loves:

Because We Don’t Really Want to Put Down Our Phones–So true! It’s hard when it’s just there all the time. Except the times I can’t find it. 😛 I need to start putting my phone up at certain times of the day for sure–ie meal times and Layla’s awake times. I think I do pretty good with not being attached to my phone, but it’s a struggle for sure!

Building a Maternity Capsule Wardrobe–I’m working on this now. I need to go through and kind of pair up outfits, take photos and save them on my phone, so I don’t have to use my brainpower to find something cute to wear together.

Car shopping–We’ve been car shopping this week one of those “loves” that also comes with overwhelmed and tired feelings too. We were looking at crossovers/suvs with third row seats, but we’ve basically moved into minivan territory.

Baby movement–The sweetest! Basically the thing I love most about being pregnant.

Lala

Layla prayers– For the last month or so Layla has been prompting us at every meal to “Amen” (pray) and this week we started leading her in prayers. Like “Dear Jesus, Thank you for mama and daddy and baby and food. Amen!” It’s so simple and so sweet!

That’s all for me right now! I’m going to enjoy my sloow weekend!

What are you loving this week?

  1. It’s hard not to be attached to our technology, but I have mixed feelings about it. It’s a double edged sword. It’s a great tool, but we can often use it to waste time or ignore relationships. But that’s usually just my misuse of the technology. It’s not ‘technology’s’ fault.
