Nate and I spent the afternoon yesterday with some of our guests at Southern Exposure, a beautiful garden in Battle Creek. It was wonderful to walk among the gardens and enjoy the sunshine and flowers.
Have a great weekend, friends!
What are you loving this week!?

I will be trying the chicken recipe this next week. It is sad that we are waiting for parts to the grill, so I need a fresh option for chicken. And I wish you were here to enjoy my front porch with me. Flowers blooming, baskets hanging, birds singing, breezes gently blowing, porch swing swaying, Bible open, herbal tea awaiting. Peace abundant!

Oooh I do love that porch. One of my favorite places in the world!

I’m looking at garage sales for pretty cups and saucers so we can drink our tea in style out on the porch. I heard of a mom/grandma who would serve tea in fancy cups on the front porch whenever a storm was coming. The youngsters could enjoy a special tea time on the safety of the porch with mom/grandma. It helped them not be so fearful of storms. Cool idea. I just need to have someone be here when a storm is brewing so I can brew some tea! (Oh, and I need the fancy cups!)

That quote (the exact picture, actually) was my phone background for a very, very long time. Love that quote!
That garden looks so gorgeous. I’m loving the spring-like weather, after we got some pretty crappy, cold, hail-y weather!

Isn’t it great!?! And yes, I’m glad it’s finally warmed up–it was such a long winter.
