Homemade Brownies (with Peanut Butter Frosting)
These homemade brownies are the classic recipe that I made for 4-H when I was in second grade. I honestly am not sure where the recipe came from….a tattered, brownie stained paged is lodged in my memory, but I’ve been making this recipe by memory since middle or high school.
It’s a classic I that I have always taken to teenage get-togethers, church potlucks, and dinners with friends.
A few years ago I added the peanut butter frosting to up the wow factor. And because the peanut butter and chocolate combinations is one of my absolute favorites!
(Check out my peanut butter hot chocolate for more goodness!)
These brownies are nice and soft in the center with a slightly chewy edge. I always reach for a corner piece! Did you know they even make a special corner peices only pan?!? Friends, it is GOOD to be living in the modern era, let me tell you.
