I used to hate Mondays, but now I don’t mind them—working part time at a place you love will do that to you. I saw this quote on Pinterest this weekend and thought it was a perfect philosophy for mornings in general, but especially Monday mornings.
In a quick, non-boring summary of our weekend: I lazed about, ran, went to church, lazed some more, and hung out with friends. Nothing too fancy or exciting. I’m not a fan of packing our schedule too tight; I like lots of margin in our schedules.
Speaking of schedules here is my workout schedule for the week.
Monday: Strength workout—I think I’m going to try this workout. Plus abs from Random Abs
Tuesday: 3 Mile Run incorporating intervals
Wednesday: 7 Mile Run Plus abs from Random Abs
Thursday: 4 Mile Run with stride outs or fartleks
Friday: Upper body workout—Boxing Boot Camp plus ab work
Saturday: 10 Mile Run
Woot! Getting’ after it!
Finally, here is my none-too-fancy, meal plan:
Monday: Pizza buns
Thursday: Swiss steak
Friday: at camp
Saturday: at camp
I got some new organic soups to try for lunches during the week which are always hard to get ready. I’ll let you know how we like them! Thursday night might also be out or with friends, it’s hard to tell at this point. Going to focus on getting 5 fruits or veggies and high quality fats, protein, and carbs each day using MyFitnessPal to keep track. I’ve kind of gotten off the tracking bandwagon, but, for me, it’s a good thing to be on!
Hope you have a great week!
