So this morning I woke up and after I had my first cup of coffee it struck me: it was July 17. The start of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Ah! I had 4-5 things saved on my browser thanks to fashion bloggers heads up last week. I’m not going to lie, I added $350 worth of stuff to my cart. And then I weaned it down to two things: an awesome pair of booties and a sports bra. (Priorities, people.)
But there were oh-so-many things I wanted! And there are some amazing deals on high quality activewear items that normally you don’t find marked down. So if your workout wear needs refreshed or you want to invest in some staples here are some great options!
Top Row: SlouchyPullover,(Ack! Adorable! Wear to yoga, after yoga, to coffee, all the time!) Asics Gel Kayana Running Shoe (cushioned shoe with more support), North Face Fleece Half-Zip (North Face SO rarely goes on sale, I’m dying that I’m passing this up!)
Second Row: Nike Tempo Track Shorts (a classic for a steal!) and Zella Torque Bike Shorts (not to forget those of you who love to bike!)
Third Row: Zella Sports Bra (colorful & medium impact), Northface Rain Jacket (so many cute colors–I can’t even.), and Live-in Leggings (great reviews on these staples for workout or play!)
Fourth Row: Nike Cool Breeze Dri-fit Tank (cool, plus neon colors online!), Flirt Ruffle Back Jacket (tiny ruffle detail on the back-yes please!), and Nike Free 5.0 (my sister’s favorite running shoe, lightweight and breathable).
There you go guys! There are so many great options at the sale…seriously! I’ve only laid out a few for you! There are lots of colorful prints online or in store, I just tend to gravitate to neutral and cool colors right now.
While yes, you can get cheaper workout gear at Target or TJ Maxx it is SO smart to stock up or invest in some quality pieces that will hold up better over time. Plus at these prices it’s about the same as discount places so you might as well! The sale goes through August 3rd and there is free shipping and free returns. Stuff does sell out quickly though so don’t wait too long!
Do you stock up at sales? Have you bought anything at the Nordstrom sale yet?

Guilty! I did some damage at the sale. I did not think it was as good as previous years. I got a pair of nike crosstrainers and a great purse.Don’t tell my husband 🙂

Hahaha! That’s awesome! I didn’t really “get” it before (living under a rock I guess!) but I’m a sucker for a sale! I’m hoping to get a really killer pair of riding style boots next year. Gotta start saving now! 😉

I love Nordstroms fitness line, and the prices aren’t too bad either.

Sometimes I feel like the only female who hates shopping, lol. I never buy things when should (or when they are on sale!) and then when I need them I think “I so should have bought that when it was on sale last week/month/etc”
Kate says
Haha! I feel like when I don’t have money to shop I want all. the. things. but then when I have extra cash to spend I can never find anything I like. Ugh!
