Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

This yummy, homemade, peanut butter hot chocolate has been keeping me sane this week!  It’s light and tasty!  It’s cheaper than the little packets.  It doesn’t have a bunch of weird ingredients, instead it contains natural ingredients you already have in your cupboard! It is easier than making homemade hot chocolate on the stovetop and you don’t risk burning yourself. Finally it’s quick–just a minute and a half till it’s warm and in your hands!

Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:

1 Tablespoon Sugar Substitute (I used Splenda)
1 Tablespoon Cocoa (I use Dutch Process Cocoa)
1 teaspoon PB2 Powder
1/4 cup water
3/4-1 cup milk (I used almond—so smooth and creamy)

Directions

Mix sugar, cocoa, and PB2 in bottom of mug.  Add 1/4 cup of water.  Stir briskly and thorougly and place in microwave for 1 minute.  Remove cup from microwave (it may be hot) and stir.  Add milk, stir again, and place back in microwave for another 2 minutes (less if you don’t love your hot beverages steaming, like I do!).  Remove and stir with a tiny whisk till frothy.

See your PMS troubles melt away!

Live Happy!

  1. I love hot chocolate, but it's a little too warm for it right now. I usually drink it everyday in the fall and winter. 🙂
