Hey! I thought I would give you another official Pregnancy Update. I am currently 21.5 weeks.
What’s going on with baby?
Baby girl is moving a LOT! She’s most active in the late afternoon and evenings. It’s so cool to feel her moving around and responding some to her environment. She seems to like her daddy’s voice and music, which isn’t surprising. She’s also starting to swallow and now has eyebrows!
What’s going on with mom?
I’m really feeling great! Minimal complaints. I’m still somewhat tired, but better than I have been. I’m getting 9ish hours of sleep a night and would be happy to take an afternoon nap, but I don’t NEED it like I used to. Guess I might as well enjoy all the sleep now, right? I’ve been working out 3-4 days a week walking, doing yoga, or strength training. The running hasn’t really happened so much but I’m happy to just be active.
I also worked really hard on our registry last weekend. It’s challenging to predict what you definitely need, might need, and what would be nice to have, but I thought I would share a few of the baby girl stuff that I’m loving this week. (See how I combined a pregnancy post and a things I loved Friday post—so clever this one! )
Baby Girl Stuff I’m Loving
This adorable print from Febystan Etsy shop! Could it get any cuter!? I also love that it’s not too precious.
Somewhere babysurfing the internet I saw a kerchief bib. Such a cute way to elevate the “drool bib”! Plus I think I’m smart enough to sew these—and if not I’m sure I know someone smart enough. Or what the heck, I may just drop $8 on a bib! Lol! The one below is from lilmint Etsy shop.
Speaking of adorable how about a tiny little Columbia bear? I KNOW it’s adorable, but it’s also very practical since our little lady will be born in the heart of a Michigan winter. Plus if little miss has a brother someday he can be a cute baby bear too!
I’ve also been trying to get some nursery design ideas! It’s a little silly since right now we don’t really know where we’ll put baby girl, but I’m sure we’ll figure it out and when we do—I, of course, don’t want to be caught unprepared! Lol! I’m thinking a light teal, navy, and pink for the colors with the main focusing being the teal. It’s kind of based off her first onesie! But really, who knows…
Cloth diapers! Yes, we are on the cloth diaper train. Or rather we are on the saving money in the long term train. You can save SO MUCH by cloth diapering. After seeing my sister-in-law and a few friends do it, I feel good about it and confident in the type I want to get. Plus we just bought a nice washer and dryer which helps too!
Cloth diaper professionals Miss Brielle and Miss Sophie modeling their cloth dipes!
So there is a baby update plus a shopping update! It IS pretty fun to even virtual shop for our baby girl!
What’s your favorite of my picks? Thoughts on cloth vs disposable diapers?
