Hello! Today I am taking a day off to just chill. It is a very nice thing to get in the habit of doing. And we finally got a new computer charger—everything is so much bigger than on my iPhone! lol! Not that I’m complaining….first world problems.
I hit my 10% goal last week—a total of 17 pounds lost! Losing 10% of Your Bodyweight is a big deal!! I was so excited and amazed by how much I have lost over the past months and honestly, how small the sacrifices have been. I have ate brownies, cheesecake, margaritas, steak, burgers—there is nothing off limits which is what I love about Weight Watchers! It definitely is a lifestyle not a diet.
Can you see a difference? It’s kind of hard since I am in different stances and clothes. But the vest in the top picture could not latch at the time. Now it does. And I can still breathe. Definitely a win in my book! I’m proud of how far I’ve come and I know that the journey is just beginning! Healthy living is definitely a lifestyle not a diet! Losing 10% of Your Bodyweight is a great place to start though!
Also, I am only two weeks away from the 1/2 Marathon! I have just two more long runs on my calendar! I also have a lot of blisters…wah, wah, wah….. I’m not really sure what to do about them. I was keeping up my normal running schedule but they seem to be getting worse even on my shorter training runs. They really impacted my first half and I don’t want that to happen again! Is it weird to have such bad blisters? I’ve gotten different shoes and socks and they haven’t made that big of a difference—when I get over 7 miles I generally have 2-3 big blisters and they don’t heal. Any advice for healing and preventing blisters?
