SEPTEMBER STATS
I had 26,000 pageviews in September and 21,0000 monthly visitors. It’s slightly less than August, but not a big deal. I just want to thank YOU for being a part of what we have going on here. My biggest referrers for the month were Pinterest, Google, and Fitfluential. My social media followers grew by 117. Hello new friends!!
SEPTEMBER REVENUE:
Sponsored Posts: $40
Social Media only campaigns: $100
Ads: $41.02
Affiliates: $13.61
Total Revenue: $234.64
SEPTEMBER EXPENSES:
You got to spend money to make money, or at least that’s what they tell me.
CoSchedule (blog calendar & social media scheduling): $5
Tailwind (Pinterest scheduling tool–so great!): $10
Mailchimp (email service): $10
Blog hosting & site fees: $10
Total Expenses: $35
Income less Expenses: $200 (math is hard; let’s round.)
To be honest this month was disappointing when it comes to the income side. I’ve had to come to terms with the fact that is just the way it goes sometime. It doesn’t define me and is nowhere near the most important thing in my life. Taking a week off for a couples getaway with Nate may have affected things somewhat, but I needed that too, so no regrets– just keep moving forward. #seewhatIdidthere 😉 Have a great day!

September was down for me too. I think it might have been all the back to school chaos.
I agree! I’ve only been really tracking this stuff for about 7 months, so I think it will be interesting to put it in a nice big spreadsheet so I can compare trends over the course of the years. #nerdalert
Yep, some months are just slower! I’m looking forward to a better month this month, since I got my first sponsored post through Social Fabric! And as soon as I submitted that one, I was selected for another one. Yay! I’d love to have the extra income of one sponsored post a month, on average. You’re my motivation for that…but you are right. It does take time to get selected! If you just keep applying, you eventually get picked! 🙂 Here’s to a good October in blogging for both of us!
My first inclination is to totally stress about it, but I know it’s a timing thing and God has it all under control. It’s amazing how “freelancing” builds trust. 🙂
And congrats on your work with Social Fabric! That’s exciting!!
