Updated April 2020
Summer is here! It may not say it on the calendar yet but the warm days, kids out of school, scent of freshly mown grass, and sweet summer treats say it is!
Last summer I spent a few bucks and got a popsicle mold so I could make my own homemade popsicles and frozen treats. I still love making my Cafe Mocha Popsicles and this summer I wanted to expand my popsicle making with these amazing Strawberry Mango Popsicles!
These popsicles are made just with fruit and Greek yogurt so they work perfectly for a healthy frozen treat!

To make these healthy homemade popsicles you may need…
- A popsicle mold to make these creamy, frozen bad boys!
- A good blender— this is on my list as a “reasonable, but nice” blender!
- A positive and sunny summery tee to enjoy your popsicle in!
At first I had a little bit of trouble sliding the popsicles out of the mold; they were stuck in there good! To get them out easily run the mold under hot water and then twist and pull the popsicles out. If they seem stuck put them back under the hot running water for a bit and try again.
Eating a popsicle certainly takes me back to carefree summer days.
My favorite summer past time growing up was reading. I would devour books all summer long, popsicle in hand, when I wasn’t playing in the sprinkler and attending VBS, summer camp or the 4-H fair.
Oh to go back to the days when crushing my friends at memorizing Bible verses or baking the perfect cookie for the judges were the biggest stressors of my life.
Also, a salute to my ever-classy childhood collection of elastic waist printed shorts and brightly colored scrunchies.
In an odd way I am coming back to slower summer days because simple = enjoyable when you have a newborn and a toddler.
So if we just walk to the neighborhood park, play with play dough, relax in the backyard, and watch Little Einsteins all summer that’s totally okay.
We’re just keeping our cool over here with our strawberry mango homemade popsicles.
