Hi there! Hope you had a great weekend! We sure did!
Friday evening involved a quick run with Layla and an amazing steak dinner!
On Saturday we hit up a few garage sales and I enjoyed some reading. (I basically devoured The Nesting Place; now I need to go back and read it slower.)
And we planted a few of our pots around the house and cleaned out some beds and the back patio area. Also, what is the secret to full, beautiful pots? Mine always end up looking scraggly.
And then Sunday was my first Mother’s Day! My sweet daughter blessed me with 8 hours of sleep and even a long (ish) nap in the afternoon! Hurrah!
Nate gave me a sweet Willow Tree to commemorate our little family as well. It truly was a marvelous weekend!
And now, on to this week! I swear I’m the only person in the world who actually likes Mondays, they feel so fresh and full of opportunity to me!
Here are my goals for the new week:
- Complete 2 running workouts
- 1 HIIT and 2 Strength Training Workouts
- Continue to build plank time (I can already hold for a minute again!)
- Make a “new to us” meal (perhaps using my new cookbook!)
