I decided for Layla’s birthday party I wanted to have a trail mix, but I didn’t feel like buying it–trail mix is expensive! And I kind of wanted to make my own mix that would be special for her party and go with the other colors and flavors we had going on, so I made this white chocolate cherry trail mix.
I chose to use chex instead of another cereal or grain because 1. It’s gluten-free so it’s a great option for a crowd 2. Layla loves chex cereal! The dried cherries are definitely my favorite part though! So good!

This trail mix went over really well at the party! I have definitely been grabbing handfuls of it around the house too…..so good! Like all trail mixes it is great for sustained energy with that good mix of carbs, protein, and sweets! But do beware of mindless munching…measure this good stuff out, okay!?
Snacking goodness!! Enjoy!
