1/2cupcup softened butter
1TmilkIf needed; when I made this batter for some reason it was drier than usual so I added a tablespoon of milk to compensate. Generally it shouldn't need it.
1cupchopped walnutsI do mine in the food processor for just a few seconds
Splash of vanilla
Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla together until smooth. Add in flour, salt, and baking soda and stir until dough forms. Roll into ball about the size of a walnut. Form a small "well" in each cookie (I poke my finger in the center and then form the well around that.) Combine filling ingredients in a small bowl. Mix until combined. Fill each cookie well with filling, about 1-2 teaspoons per cookie. Bake at 350 for 11-12 minutes. Top with glaze.
