Chop 1/2 of the dates in a food processor (depending on the size of your food processor you may need to do in smaller batches) and then the other half. Repeat the process with the almonds and then blend both almonds and dates together (in batches again if necessary). Mix in cocoa powder, maple syrup, and salt until well mixed. Press into small balls and freeze for 1-2 hours. Store in the refrigerator or freezer.
