Banana Split Smoothie Bowl
I’m excited to welcome Christine, from Jar of Lemons, as she shares a delicious recipe with us this week while I’m on maternity leave! Thanks Christine!Â
I, Christine, am the ULTIMATE breakfast lover. If you’ve spent any amount of time over on my blog (Jar Of Lemons), you probably picked up on that pretty quickly! I love breakfast so much that I seriously go to bed excited to wake up and eat breakfast. I might have a problem, y’all. BEST PROBLEM EVER!
Now, while I do focus on keeping breakfast meals as healthy and nutritionally packed as possible, I have a second problem: the worst case of sweet tooth you ever did see. It’s true. On a normal day, I will unknowingly find ways to incorporate dessert into almost every meal possible. And today, dessert has made its way into breakfast in this delicious Banana Split Smoothie Bowl!
You can judge me all you want, but you’ll thank me later when you’re eating devouring this smoothie bowl. Creamy, fruity, chocolatey, perfectly sweet perfection in a bowl! It’s literally like having ice cream for breakfast!
OH, and did I mention it takes, like, 10 minutes to make? Yeah. UH. MAZING. It really doesn’t get any better than that!
This recipe makes 2 servings, but you have lots of options here. 1.) Cut the recipe in half. Obvs. 2.) Make the entire recipe and sharrrrrrrre…..or not. 3.) Make the entire recipe and freeze half for dessert later! <——– Like I did when I made this 😉
Go ahead and give this recipe a try, friends! You definitely won’t regret it 🙂 And be sure to let Kate and I know what you think!
If you’re looking for more epically delicious breakfast recipes to add into your life, you can find a ton of amazing ones here on Kate Moving Forward or over on Jar Of Lemons!
