Mid March Coffee Chat

Hey Friends! Welcome to the Mid March Coffee Chat!!

Let’s grab some coffee and catch up, ok?

First off, let me say that since my last post my site has been hacked by malware–twice. It was so incredibly stressful and now I’m using a service to keep it free from cyber attack, so we should be good from here on out! Whew!

If we were sitting across a cup of coffee today, I’d tell you that these past few weeks have been crazy! We’ve been very busy and in the midst of that my middle child has been majorly struggling with needing mommy all.the.time. I’m sure it has to do with our pace right now and his reaction to changes, but man it is tough! My oldest rarely struggled with separation anxiety, so this is new territory for us. Any tips? I’m trying to be reassuring, present and firm (because some times mama needs to do other things, like feed the baby, cook meals, fold laundry, spend time with adults). So I’m putting ALL the kisses on his chubby cheeks while I can!

If we were having coffee today, I’m sure we’d chat about how I’m longing for spring, real spring to come! We have a couple 50 degree days coming up and we will live it up while they are here! March is still VERY much winter in Michigan, but I can hardly believe April is just a few weeks away!

So on the subject of spring let’s talk about Easter clothes. I’m still looking for matching Easter dress shirts for the boys. I need something with a bit of yellow (to coordinate with Layla) and that will go with khaki pants. And then I still want to order a dress for myself…it’ll probably be from Old Navy or Target. Here are some options…

Option 1 (Classic Easter and nursing friendly.)

Option 2 (Not as “Eastery” but I saw it styled super cute and would probably get more wear out of it. Also nursing friendly.)

Option 3 (So pretty and I could match Layla! But not nursing friendly.)

What is your vote?

Keeping things short and sweet for this “come back” blog post, but I’ll have more recipes and other good stuff for you next week!
